Une autre fête
Well, another halloween weekend has come and gone. In the things I didnt do this year were a) go to the masquerade bal at the old port and b) get to dress up as something and party. Although we had been invited to a “burlesque” themed party last saturday, we decided to head up to Ottawa and celebrate with Core and the usual suspects Core’s 25th anniversary. It was a blast! We had a great dinner chez Darryl and Al, great company and some live entertainment - I mean, really, who can stop me from banging the bongoes after a few beers? It was so much fun, and so worth the trip. There’ll be other halloween parties - or other parties for that matter- in the future. In the meantime, Ill save my idea for next year. After the dinner party we still had some energy and saw the texas chain-saw massacre (the newer one). Quite gory. We closed the great weekend with a great breakfast at zak’s diner, a 50’s themed restaurant open 24 hours in the middle of the market. Great food, great people, great times.chers mates!
